Bubble Dragon in Paradise Island

A romhack staring Bub as he explores a brand new world! Based on Alex Kidd in Miracle World, this demo focuses less on platforming and more on outwitting enemies and item synergy, all in a new picturesque landscape.

To play this romhack, you'll need a legal rom of Alex Kidd in Miracle World (v1.1, UE), a Master System emulator and an IPS patching program. I recommend Emulicious and Floating IPS; you will need to source the rom yourself. Run Flips and then click "Apply Patch" and you'll be ready to play.


This three level demo was originally developed for fun as a nude project. A censored version was later submitted to the SMSPower hack competition which took the silver prize. While there are no plans to develop the game further at this time, I have fond memories of this project and would not mind returning to it in the future. If you enjoyed it, let me know!
